The G.O.T. Farms group has made some great progress this winter, and we are glad to see the snow finally melting away. The interior design of the greenhouse is coming along beautifully, and the outdoor garden will be planted soon. Check out the photo gallery below to see some of our more recent efforts.
- late fall 2010 – constructing a low tunnel for winter gardening
- 1st layer – wire hoops and remay fabric, 2nd layer – PVC and greenhouse plastic
- Bring on the snow!
- making Maine meat and veggie pizzas with Suzanne Dunham
- Winter gardening is FUN!
- cooking pumpkin pies from scratch for the NHS Thankgiving feast
- snow art!
- December greens
- We gave the interior of the greenhouse a new coat of white paint just before winter set in.
- After February break, the greenhouse was warm enough to begin the next stage our interior design.
- We began planting seeds in the greenhouse in mid-March.
- During the coldest weeks, we made ceramic plant pots in the art room. These pots, now planted with a variety of herbs, will be offered for sale during the TMS Spring Art show in May.
